The SIP Arborist cut protection trousers from the Progress series are precisely tailored to the needs of tree climbers. Integrated gaiters with hooks and ventilation zips that never get in the way when you need to wear safety harnesses. In addition, we were able to reduce the weight by using Dyneema ® fibres in the protective layer.
OUTSIDE
∙ Pre-shaped, fully elastic Armortex®-Light reinforcements at the knees.
∙ Front slit with zip - Waistband closes with hook and eye and press studs.
∙ 2 set-in pockets with zips
∙ 1 patch thigh pocket with flap with reflective piping
∙ 1 patch mobile phone pocket on the right leg with waterproof zip
∙ Ventilation zipper on the back of the leg
∙ Elastic waistband with belt loops and loops for braces (ref. 5SD4)
∙ Triple seam stitching at the back up to the cross area
INSIDE
∙ Nylnet lining for optimum comfort (100% polyester)
∙ Wetness barrier at the bottom, above the protective insert
∙ Elastic gaiter with metal lacing hook for fixing to the shoelace
∙ 6-layer protective insert at the front based on Dyneema® yarns
∙ Tear-resistant, water- and dirt-repellent outer fabric, thanks to Teflon™ TeXXion (87% Cordura® - 13% elastane ±240g/m2).
∙ Elastic Armortex light reinforcements (30.7% para-aramid - 60.6% polyamide - 6.5% elastane - 2.2% polyurethane ±340g/m2).
